A wheelchair is a wheelchair. Right?

Wrong! There are a lot of differences between wheelchairs – how much they weigh, how they feel, how they respond, how they fit, etc. When you’re choosing a wheelchair to rent or purchase, it’s wise to get the answers to a few questions first:

  • Is there a local vendor who knows about wheelchairs?
  • Does the vender service the chairs they sell?
  • Will they come to your home to provide service? Or do you have to take the chair to the vender?
